Overview of the behaviour self review
How well does your school manage student behaviour?
Are the school processes consistent with current thinking and owned by all staff?
Are the school processes translated into action in the classrooms and playgrounds?
Is the school organised to maximise the possibility that students will behave appropriately?
Are the staff supported in their efforts to manage student behaviour?
Are students supported to manage their own behaviour?
Does the school gather meaningful behaviour data and use it to inform its behaviour planning?
The BSR will assist you to answers these questions. It will provide you with systematically gathered data to inform school planning to create a safe, supportive learning environment. Priorities for improvement will be identified and baseline data to measure the effectiveness of interventions will be evident.
For support in using the BSR contact your District Student Services team. To access the system and find out more about it click here.
