The documents below will help Community Service Coordinators to plan and implement a school service program.

The Resource Kit was developed to assist schools in developing and implementing a school service program. It provides information about planning and communication strategies, suggested approaches to implementation and a range of practical resources to assist coordinators with their work.
Public schools with senior secondary students are invited to deliver the new PD2CS Community Service Endorsed Program.  This program has been developed to faciliate continued student involvement in community service activities in 2010 and beyond. 
The Community Service policy, procedures and guidelines document, has some examples of Service Activity Management Plans and the DET Certificate of Currency.
These guidelines provide advice about community service activities, and how hours are to be recorded. 
This document complements the Curriculum Council Community Service Guidelines.

The Give 20 website lists opportunities for community service across the state and can be accessed by coordinators, students and parents. The website was developed by VolunteeringWA in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training.
The Community Involvement website was developed to support students participating in community service.  It provides activities to assist students to prepare and reflect on their service, and a means of recording learning and achievements for their CV.
