The Telethon Institute for Child Development has conducted an evaluation of the Department of Education and Training’s pilot of the Roots of Empathy program. The report outlines the results of a comparative study of the 17 schools involved in the pilot in 2005 and 12 classrooms where Roots of Empathy was not used. It draws conclusions and makes some recommendations regarding the program.
