Bullying-No Way!

Schools are among the safest places in the community for children and young people. Unfortunately bullying, harassment and violence place students' safety in jeopardy. We know that bullying, harassment and violence occur in all schools communities.

Bullying. No Way! is an Australian website that provides information and ideas on how to reduce bullying, harassment and violence in our schools. The work of this project is supported by teachers, parents, students, staff and curriculum officers throughout Australia.

The aims of the Bullying. No way! website are to:

  • provide a nationwide resource of State and Territory approaches to minimising bullying, harassment and violence in schools
  • develop a framework for sharing Australian school community solutions that work
  • use technology and networks to make this information as accessible as possible to school communities
  • make sure that all students can learn in a safe and supportive school environment

The Bullying. No way! website now features an e-bulletin, posted to subscribers on a monthly basis. The e-bulletin highlights useful resources and additions to the Bullying. No way! website, as well as what's happening around Australia's Government, Catholic and Independent education sectors. To sign up to receive this e-bulletin, please take the link from the Bullying.
